Ayya Vaikundar said “the activity wherein men and women joint together is alone perfect” and Vivekananda said “wherever the Women are respected there ever success succeeds”. The development of country stands upon the steering of women power. Rightly initiated dynamic power utilization will benefit them and our nation is vividly accepted truth. Equal participation in leadership, social and economical movement will lead to better understanding and compromise. Organizing Self Help Groups and setting up federation among them at various levels (HLF, PLF, BLF) pave a concrete structure of development. Accordingly, 445 SHGs have been organized with 8401 women and girls. They themselves have created corpus amount of Rs: 9.25 crores and the amount is revolving as loan among them. With the partnership of TNCDW trainings are given in line with the object of Mahalir Thittam. Their economical development is supported through sufficient credit linkage and privileged loans with nationalized banks and cooperative societies. Further, with the assistance of Rashtriya Mahila Kosh loan given for various trades of activities.
